Handong Global University stands out with many distinguishing features

An unrivaled long string of scholarships, financial assistance

Most of the high school graduates and their parents in Korea tend to insist on winning matriculation ‘at all cost’ at Seoul National University or other ‘prestigious’ universities in Seoul such as Yonsei, Korea, Ewha (for women), Sogang and a number of others.

However, closely examining other universities in Korea, such as those in different localities out of the capital city, one is appalled at the outstanding features of other universities in various localities, which stand out in various aspects.

For further details, please visit: /news/view.html?section=162&category=184&no=947

President Seung-hoon Chang of the University cordially invites Your Excellency with Madam, with other Ambassadors and Madams, to visit the University on Thursday 11 June 2015 and invitation has already been forwarded to each Excellency. In case of our transmission failure, please advise us at 2298-1740/2 or 1745/6. Our cellphone numbers are 010-5201-1740 (Chairman Lee), 010-3388-1682 (Korean) and email address edt@koreapost.com.

Today’s humor:

Humor from a generous former Asian ambassador

The Power of the Media

A King enrolled his donkey in a race & won.

Local paper read: 'KING's ASS WON'

The king was so upset with this kind of publicity that he gave the donkey to the queen.

The local paper then read: "QUEEN HAS THE BEST ASS IN TOWN" -- The king fainted....

Queen sold the donkey to a farmer for 10$.

Next day paper read: "QUEEN SELLS HER ASS FOR $10" -- The queen fainted...

The next day king ordered the queen to buy back the donkey and leave it in jungle. The Next Headlines: "QUEEN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS FREE & WILD" The king died... !!

That's Media!

Different Opinion of Different People in The World!

Worldwide survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was:

Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"

The survey was a huge failure,

In Africa they didn't know what 'food' meant, (pitiably poor)

In India they didn't know what 'honest' meant, (hypo-critic dishonest fellas)

In Europe they didn't know what 'shortage' meant, (rich)

In China they didn't know what 'opinion' meant, (no freedom)

In the Middle East they didn't know what 'solution' meant, (ever in war)

In South America they didn't know what 'please' meant, (ruffians)

And in the USA they didn't know what 'the rest of the world' meant!! (US is the whole world!!)

Men will never learn

A Man and Woman story!

A woman and a man are involved in a car accident.

It's a bad collision, caused by the woman's reckless driving.

Both of their cars are demolished but amazingly neither of them a re-hurt.

After they crawl out of their cars, the woman says;

"So, you're a handsome man. That's interesting. I'm a woman.

Wow, just look at our cars! There's nothing left, but fortunately we are unhurt.

This must be a sign from God that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace for the rest of our days."

The man replied," I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God!

The woman continued, "And look at this, here's another miracle.

My car is completely damaged, but this bottle of wine didn't break.

Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune together."

Then she hands the bottle to the man seductively.

The man nods his head in agreement, opens it, drinks half the bottle and then hands it back to the woman.

The woman takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and hands it back to the man.

The man asks, "Aren't you having any?"

She replies, "Nah. I think I'll just wait for the police to come and collect their evidence."

Adam ate the apple again!!

Men will never learn!

Prayer

The plane was experiencing considerable turbulence.

One passenger began praying. “Lord, I’m a rich man. If you just let this plane land safely, I’ll give you half of everything I own.”

The plane landed safely, and this rich man was the first one off. In the terminal, a preacher tapped him on the shoulder.

“Sir,” he said, “I heard your prayer. As I’m a preacher, I’d like to collect what you’ve promised.”

“I made the Lord a better offer - I told him if he ever catches me on a plane again, he can have it all!”
