Hanmi Pharm has won the "K-ICT Information Protection Award" for the first time in the pharmaceutical bio industry, the company said on Nov. 30.
Marking its 19th anniversary this year, the K-ICT Information Protection Grand Prize is awarded by the Ministry of Science and ICT to companies and individuals who practice raising awareness of information protection and protecting autonomous information.
Based on the result of three stages of screening by the Science and Technology Evaluation Committee, Hanmi Pharm obtained the honor for the first time in the pharmaceutical industry as it was highly praised for its information protection management, excellence in information protection technology, and ability to respond to infringement.
In preparation for the growing threat of cyber terrorism and information leakage for pharmaceutical bio companies, Hanmi Pharm has established and implemented a systematic and independent information protection management system.
Hanmi Pharm also received excellent reviews in this award for operating an information protection committee to protect information and establishing its own development system to protect information on new drugs.
