Kyung Dong Navien received the $300 million export award at the Trade Day event held at COEX in Seoul on Dec. 8, the company said.

Kyung Dong Navien, the flagship of K-Boiler, has attracted global customers by introducing locally optimized products since the mid-2000s.

The company has driven boilers into export industries by taking the top spot in the North American and Russian markets and expanding its influence in the Chinese market. Kyung Dong Navien accounted for 84.1 percent of the industry's total exports of boilers and gas water heaters last year.

Although the COVID-19 battered the overall economy this year, Kyung Dong Navien continues to grow in both domestic and foreign markets.

Until the third quarter, it has continued its steady sales growth in North America, and in the Russian market, it was selected for the third consecutive time as the National Brand last year.

It also won this year's corporate award for the second time last month, and is recognized as a leading company in the heating sector.

A company spokesman said, “Based on our belief that we will provide customers with a more pleasant living environment, we continue to innovate our living environment through the development of eco-friendly, high-efficiency technologies."
