The "Untact Tourist Spots Top 100 Program," introduced by the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) last year, was recently selected as an Active Tourism Competition winner at the FITUR, a tourism fair in Madrid, Spain.

The KTO explained on Feb. 15, "The 100 non-face-to-face tourist destinations received positive reviews for presenting a new travel model to preserve the tourism ecosystem and promote sustainable economic growth."

The FITUR tourism fair, which has been held since 1980, is one of the world's top three exhibitions in the tourism sector, and this year, Bulgaria's "Rodopesan Culture Experience Event" was also awarded along with Korea.

The KTO and 10 regional tourism corporations jointly selected 100 non-face-to-face tourist destinations in June last year and conducted various marketing campaigns to promote safety and domestic tourism at the same time at a time when the end of COVID-19 unclear.

You can find 100 non-face-to-face tourist attractions such as the skywalk of Deunggi Mountain in Uljin-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, the pine tree scent forest in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, and Seonam Lake Park in Nam-gu, Ulsan on the KTO website.
