During his term as a civil servant, he was dispatched to the OECD headquarters, the U.S. Federal Department of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Chairman Park said in his acceptance speech, "I feel a heavy responsibility to be the head of the overseas construction association at a time when Korea’s overseas construction industry is facing serious difficulties such as restrictions on winning orders due to the COVID-19 pandemics."

He continued to say, "We will do our best to strengthen the competitiveness of our overseas construction companies and expand the receipt of orders in the ever-increasing global market," he said.
