Ssangyong Engineering & Construction announced on Sept. 16 that Chairman Kim Seok-joon will go on a business trip to Dubai to encourage on-site employees for the Chuseok holidays. Chairman Kim has visited overseas sites every year for the past 30 years to encourage employees.
This is the third business trip to Dubai after September and December last year during the COVID-19 period. He visited Singapore in April this year.
In particular, Chairman Kim will check the site of the Royal Atlantis Hotel with construction costs of about 1.5 trillion won ahead of the year-end completion and the Dubai Expo Korea Hall constructed by Ssangyong Engineering & Construction in time for the opening of the Dubai World Expo on Oct. 1.
He will also soothe and encourage local employees' nostalgia for their home country to mark the Chuseok holidays.
