To hold summit talks with President Borut Pahor of Slovenia
President Moon Jae-in left for New York on Sept. 19 to attend the 76th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Cheong Wa Dae said.
At the U.N. session, President Moon is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech on Korean peace and Korea’s role in resolving global challenges.
On Sept. 20, Moon will be present at the Sustainable Development Goals Moment event, along with the members of BTS, a globally renowned South Korean boy band.
Moon also plans to hold bilateral summit talks with President Borut Pahor of Slovenia and President Nguyen Xuan Phuc of Vietnam on the sidelines of the U.N. session. He is to return to Seoul on Sept. 23.
