Pernod Ricard Korea announced the launch of ‘Jameson Black Barrel’, a premium offering by Jameson, the world’s most beloved Irish whiskey.
Following Jameson Original, a whiskey triple-distilled at a single distillery that is loved for its exceptional smoothness and flavors of vanilla and nuts by Hollywood stars and hipsters at home and abroad, Pernod Ricard Korea launches Jameson Black Barrel, which is a blend of Irish pot still whiskey and rare small batch grain whiskey produced only once per year. It boasts a particularly creamy finish.
After being triple distilled, a special feature of Irish whiskey, it is aged in double charred barrels to create rich, complex and smooth taste. Since its launch in 2011, it has been awarded a Double Gold Medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Best Blended Irish Whiskey at the Irish Whiskey Awards in 2017 and 2019.
Jameson Black Barrel delivers the sweet vanilla notes unique to Jameson alongside flavors of nuts, creamy toffee, and caramel. The rare small batch fine grain whiskey is matured in twice-charred barrels to add the rich flavor of toasted wood.
