1,573 export companies and 599 businessmen were awarded

The Korea International Trade Association (KITA), led by Chairman Koo Ja-yeol, held a ceremony to commemorate the 58th Trade Day at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul on Dec. 6.

At the ceremony, a prize award ceremony was held for 599 business people and 1,573 companies that greatly contributed to boosting Korea’s exports.

In 2021, Korea achieved $1 trillion in trade in the shortest period (299 days) and also the largest trade ever.

Chairman Koo Ja-yeol of the Korea International Trade Association, said, "We were able to achieve the largest export performance ever despite COVID-19 Pandemic and difficult internal and external conditions thanks to the generous support of the government and the people."
