Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, which is led by Chairman Lee Man-Hee, recently launched a volunteer group with 90,000 young members in the country, and carried out an ‘unprecedented volunteer activity in the world,’ such as blood donation by a group of 70,000 people. 
The church held a launching ceremony for the youth volunteer group dubbed, ‘We Are One,’ at the convention center of The-K Hotel in Yingjie-dong, Seoul on July 30, where a total of over 1,000 representatives of volunteer groups participated. 
The event consisted of three parts: Part 1 opening ceremony (performance, national anthem, greetings, congratulatory speech), Part 2 inauguration ceremony (commemorative video, launch declaration, inauguration speech, and Part 3 special performance, commemorative photo-taking, etc.

To commemorate the launching of the 'We Are One' Volunteer Corps on Aug. 27, 2022, a total of 70,000 persons (from within Korea) participated in a 'Blood Donation Campaign' at each blood center located in 17 metropolitan governments including Seoul, Busan, Incheon, and Daegu. They plan to conduct life-sharing volunteer work for three months. 
President Jae-Yong Eom of the Seoul Southern Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross, who participated in the congratulatory speech, said: “Congratulations on the launch of the Shincheonji Youth Volunteer Group We Are One. Also, we thank you for choosing to participate in the first volunteer activity of the blood donation campaign. It is expected that such actions will be a great help in dealing with the re-spreading of COVID-19 and the crisis during the holiday period. I wish you good health and good luck.”

At the event, Chairman Man-Hee Lee said, “Since we are born in this era, we have the duty to illuminate and develop the era. If God the Creator is with us, nothing is impossible. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. Let's all unite and make a better world."
The "We Are One" Volunteer Corps is a social service group consisting of 70,000 domestic and 20,000 overseas youth members belonging to the Shincheonji Church of Jesus.
In addition to the blood donation activities, "We Are One" established an activity plan to take the lead in solving national challenges and global crises by practicing love for the community in the following four different areas: Support Service, Creating a Sustainable Environment, World Peace, and Education.

CEO Hong Junsu of "We Are One" organization, said, “We discussed a lot about the problems and solutions that the youth are facing today. There are many members of the ‘We Are One’ volunteer group with a spectrum of talents, such as founders, planning developers, designers, medical personnel, and social welfare experts. Together, we will solve the problems of the younger generation and take the lead in creating a better world.”
The inauguration ceremony admitted those who had tested negative on COVID-19 on the day before and on the same day.  In addition, medical staff were dispatched so that immediate action could be taken in case of an emergency.
