Interpark has won the commendation from Minister Park Bo-gyoon of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the company said on Aug. 19.
With this award, Interpark was recognized for its contribution to attracting global customers and hosting successful events through active participation and publicity in the '2022 Korea Grand Sale'.
As a major participating company in the 2022 Korea Grand Sale, a shopping culture and tourism festival for foreigners, which was held from Jan. 13 to Feb. 28, Interpark provided special discounts to foreigners and actively propelled domestic and overseas promotions.
“We have tried to raise interest in Korean products and tourism by actively utilizing the strengths of Interpark, which operates various language-based platforms for the successful hosting of the 2022 Korea Grand Sale,” said Head Kim Yang-sun of Interpark Entertainment & Commerce.
“We will continue to contribute to the revitalization of tourism by informing the world of Korean cultural contents through services provided by Interpark, such as travel, shopping, and tickets,” he added.
