It encourages Song Ga-eun who won the championship of KLPGA Tour Daebo Haus D Open

Chairman Park Cha-hoon of the MG Community Credit Cooperatives met with KLPGA pro golfers Song Ga-eun and Kwak Bo-mi at the MG headquarters on July 26 to cheer the two players on their performances at the KLPGA Tour Daebo Haus D Open.

This event was held to celebrate the two pro golfers’ successful acheivements. Pro golfers Song Ga-eun and Kwak Bo-mi won the championship and the third prize at the KLPGA Tour Daebo Haus D Open Competition, sponsored by MG Community Credit Cooperatives as the main sponsor, respectively. It was held at the Seowon Valley CC in Paju, Gyeonggi-do from July 8 to July 10.

Song Ga-eun said, "I would like to thank the MG Community Credit Cooperatives for their support and cooperation for many years. Also, I would like to ask for your continued support in the future."

Kwak Bo-mi also said, "I will continue to give back to the MG Community Credit Cooperatives’ active support with good play."

On the other hand, MG Community Credit Cooperatives has recruited additional players who have combined skills and popularity such as Kwak Bo-mi and Kim Rian this year, in addition to Song Ga-eun who has been suppored by the MG cooperatives since she was a rookie golfer.

As a result, pro golfers Song Ga-eun, Kwak Bo-mi and Kim Ri-an, who belong to the KLPGA (Korean Women's Professional Golf) tour, are active in the MG Community Credit Cooperatives Golf Team.

Meanwhile, MG Community Credit Cooperatives, which operates a men's and women's badminton team in addition to the Korean women's professional golf team, recently officially announced the establishment of a ssireum (Korean wrestling) team and aims to establish the team in January 2023.

MG Community Credit Cooperatives, which has been sponsoring for over 10 years as an official sponsor of the Korean Ssireum Association, plans to directly establish a ssireum team to revive ssireum, and conduct various social contribution projects for the development of ssireum, such as talent donation.

Chairman Park Cha-hoon said, “MG Community Credit Cooperatives will actively expand the base of life sports. We will also promote healthy and familiar MG Community Credit Cooperatives images with full support for various sports teams.”
