Pernod Ricard Korea announced that it would run ‘Ballantine’s Single Malts Glenburgie Station’ at a premium lifestyle platform ‘Gourmet 494 Hannam’ for two months, from 9 December (Friday) to 31 January (Tuesday).
‘Ballantine’s Single Malts Glenburgie’ is one of the 3 major malt whiskies that play a significant role in Ballantine’s whisky blending, born in the Glenburgie Distillery at the heart of Ballantine’s whiskies, and characteristically showcases the essence of the Ballantine’s style. Ballantine’s has respected its tradition and quality throughout its 200 years of history under firm philosophy and belief, and particularly established itself as a definitive whisky brand that demonstrates the value of ‘time’, as used in the aging of undiluted whiskies to intensify and enrich their unique tastes and flavors.
The long-term pop-up event at ‘Gourmet 494 Hannam’, a landmark of Seoul with its diverse premium lifestyle contents, is much anticipated as the greatest collaboration between trend-leading Ballantine’s and Gourmet 494 Hannam. Specifically, with the whole of Gourmet 494 Hannam to become a stage for Ballantine’s to demonstrate its charm, the exciting size of this event is expected to set it aside from all other previous pop-up stores.
Train station-themed, Ballantine’s Single Malts Glenburgie Station will consist of 7 zones for visitors to meet the different charms of Ballantine’s single malts, as if they were on a train ride.
First, a ticket to the Ballantine’s Single Malts Glenburgie Station can be issued at the reception by pre-registering on Ballantine’s official website. By presenting the ticket at each zone, visitors can join various events that allow exceptional experiences with Ballantine’s products, and there would also be a memorable stage exclusively open for visitors that have participated in every event at the station.
Visitors could then enjoy themselves in ‘Ballantine’s Single Malts Bar’, where they will be provided with special brand experiences, drinking and tasting for themselves the colorful single malts lineup of Ballantine’s.
There would also be zones that bring special joy for the year-end holidays.
The Photo Zone, decorated with a large Ballantine’s Christmas snow globe within Gourmet 494 Hannam; and the Brand Zone, informing visitors of the stories in Ballantine’s Single Malts Glenburgie and the product, provide visitors with more to see and do. Particularly in the Brand Zone, experimental contents will be available for visitors to first-hand experience the stories of the entire Glenburgie 12 Year Old, 15 Year Old and 18 Year Old lineup, and the rich aromas of each product.
The most remarkable of all may be the whisky pairing course.
Collaborating with fine dining restaurants in Gourmet 494 Hannam, Pernod Ricard Korea will present the Ballantine’s whisky pairing course at PIECE, Corso, and Surin. The course, a marriage between two premium trend pioneers, Ballantine’s and Gourmet 494 Hannam, has been prepared to offer differential dining moments.
