The Damyang Bamboo Festival, which will be held for the first time in four years, has changed its name to the “2023 New Bamboo Festival” to leap beyond the local festival to become a global one.

Under the theme of "Let's go into the bamboo forest!" all public officials are working hard at the scene to re-examine the value of bamboo and provide tourists with various attractions.

Mayor Lee said, "We are preparing to welcome tourists with more colorful and new programs," adding, "We will do our best to prepare for the rest of the year so that it can be linked to the income of local residents by focusing on stay-type and profit-type festivals."
