South Korea in 2023. It is a meaningful time to learn, develop a sense of cooperation, and unite the world's youth through many activities held outdoors. It is a great opportunity to learn about Korean traditions and culture, especially with the performances of K-pop singers who are popular among young people around the world.

Especially noteworthy was the enthusiastic interest and participation of foreign ambassadors in Korea. Lebanese Ambassador to Korea, Norway, Finland, Philippines, Nepal, South Africa, New Zealand, sweden ,Switzerland, Peru, Mexico, Burkina Faso, Italy, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Denmark, and many others participated in the event. Ambassador Antoine Azzam, who was appointed to Korea in 2018, is a popular ambassador among Koreans, working to develop diplomatic relations between the two countries.

As the Lebanese contingent of the event, Ambassador Azzam wore a scout leader's uniform and participated with young people, attracting attention. Following the opening ceremony on August 2, the 12-day youth festival was attended by President Yoon Seok-ryul of the Republic of Korea and Mrs. Kim Gun-hee, who received a warm response and applause.

Former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was also in attendance, and Hwang Yong-ha, Head of Delegation Support at the Youth Headquarters of the World Scout Jamboree Organizing Committee, closed the event.

Special support was provided by the Governor of Jeollabuk-do, Kim Kwan-young. Jeollabuk-do's Ambassador for International Relations Ryu Chang-soo attended the event, and Na Hae-soo, Director of the Jeollabuk-do Education, Communication and Cooperation Bureau, also participated.
