A popular Korean singer Nana (Im Jin-ah) was chosen as the most beautiful woman in the world for 2014 and Korean actor Choi Si-won as the second most handsome man around the world. Last year, Nana won the second place in the same event.
The first place for the most handsome man in the world went to Jamie Dornan of the United Kingdom.
Nana won the first place among the 100 most beautiful women in the world in 2014 selected by online entertainment review site, TC Candler, which recently posted its annual '100 Most Beautiful Faces' of 2014. It was the 25th annual independent critic list since 1990. Additionally, for 2014, TC Candler decided to start a new annual list for males, the '100 Most Handsome Faces' list, where Korean act Choi grabbed the second place.
The second place winner among the top 100 beauties of TC Candler was Chloe Grace Moretz of the United States, who was followed by Lupita Nyong’o (Kenya), Camilla Belle (Brazil and the US), Zara Larsson (Sweden), Golshifteh Farahani (Iran), Emilia Clarke (the United Kingdom), Mirei Kiritani (Japan), Emma Watson (UK) and Maite Perroni (Mexico)?in that order.
In addition to Nana and Choi, a total of 14 Korean women made it to the top 100 ranking. They are Suzy (Bae Sue-ji,11th), Go Ara (17th), Taeyeon (Kim Tae-yeon, 23rd), Song Hye-kyo (27th), Jessica (35th), Minah (53rd), Woori (56th), Jun Ji-hyun (595y), Sooyoung (64th), Yoona (76th), Jooyeon (78ty), IU (83rd, and Hara (Goo Ha-ra,99th).
There also are 11 Korean young men who joined the group of the 100 most handsome men in the world. They are Taecyeon (10th), TOP (18th), Dong-hae (34th, Bakhyun (38th), Daniel Henney (44th), Taeyang (61st), Rain (78th), SHINee’s Jonghyun (84th), Kim Soo-hyun (93rd) and Dennis Oh (99th).
