Chairman Kang Duk-young of the Korea United Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. hosts a Gala New Year Classic Concert at the Concert Hall of the Seoul Art Center in Seocho-dong Seoul on Wednesday Feb. 11, 2015. As one faces the Seoul Art Center from the front, the Music Hall is located on the right hand side of the Center while the Opera House on the left hand side.
Chairman Kang hosts the prestigious classic concert every year in the New Year for the leaders of the government, business circles, media, medical industry and other society leaders--as well as diplomatic mission chiefs and madams.
This year, Chairman Kang substantially increased the concert budget to further upgrade and enrich the event.
The Concert, conducted by Ms. Kim Bong-Mi,features the United Philharmonic Orchestra and a number of noted vocalists, including Violinist Ms. Lee Sung-joo and Tenors Kim Dong-won, Kim Ki-sun and Lee Dong-young.
The VVIP guests are invited to refreshments at 2nd Floor Lounge at the Art Center for the society leaders and the mission chiefs for exchange of pleasantries and views conducive to the promotion of understanding and friendship between Korea and the countries represented by the mission chiefs.
