Millennium Seoul Hilton’s flagship all day dining and buffet restaurant will host a New Zealand Food Festival from June 27th through July 7th. During the festival, fresh and healthy New Zealand ingredients will be highlighted in the dishes offered at the buffet.

During the festival, guest chef Mark Harman will lead the kitchen on how to create the New Zealand cuisine dishes and how to best utilize the New Zealand ingredients. Chef Harman hails from the North Island where he is executive chef at the Distinction Palmerston North Hotel. With over a quarter century of experience under his belt, chef Harman has cooked for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, Bruce Willis, Alicia Keys, and many other distinguished celebrities.

Some of the items to be showcased at the buffet include: kumara coconut and lemongrass soup; marinated New Zealand green lip mussels with New Zealand avocado and lime oil; grilled rosemary and garlic New Zealand lamb cutlets with salsa verde; BBQ New Zealand beef skewers with capsicum, courgette, mushroom and red onion; Manuka honey roast pumpkin and kumara; and so much more. Even New Zealand desserts will make an appearance, including pavlova with New Zealand kiwi and cream, carrot cake with New Zealand cream cheese icing, chocolate raspberry torte with New Zealand butter, etc.

New Zealand is comprised of two main islands, and boasts some of the world’s most beautiful natural scenery. The country boasts approximately 54% of land dedicated to agriculture, which amounts to 5% of the country’s GDP.
